I don't see them choosing Frisco, or Midtown or any location that may potentially have a rail line. If public transportation is important to them, I think it needs to be the CBD. Even if Midtown did get a rail line, it would just be one stop on one line, so getting anywhere would still be cumbersom...

The Trinity River Project is going to happen nonetheless. In fact, work on it is supposed to start sometime soon, especially now that work is complete with the Horseshoe Project and the Trinity Toll road has been completely killed, thank god. The only thing to hold that up for now is work being done...

That's an additional reason for using Young Street for the streetcar, city library, city hall, farmer's market, arts district, and convention center are all great places to run free transit to. That is crazy height for a 25 floor building. The Magnolia is 29 floors and tops at 400 feet.

I grew up in this area back in the 90s. It was considered one of the most dangerous areas of the city back then. I still wouldn't be caught walking around the streets at night out there today.

This area twenty years ago was like a warzone. Gang warfare and just outright crime. It's still no better now than it was back then. However, there have been signs of slight improvement now that all of the warehouses have been going up.

These parking garages are essential for the CBD. I could care less how fancy they look. What's important is that these new parking garages are reallocating parking demand from ugly parking lots spread across the district into vertical boxes at a single block.

That's because youre seeing two different types of reflections. From the air looking down it's reflecting the ground around it, and looking at from street level you're bound to see a reflection of the sky, resulting in this light and dark effect.
