With that new pedestrian bridge connecting over Mockingbird I can see this overall area becoming popular as it also connects directly to DART rail station and off 75.

I think Perot and Victory have the deal if it comes to Dallas. They already have a connection and history together and they have both immediate build out ready for the first phases and room more for the back end phases all connected to DART station(s future) with direct service to DFW.

Yes more along the lines of the Metropolitan. I would gladly put down a deposit to purchase a unit in this building that is not built solely around uber luxury like Museum Tower or Blue Ciel. It is more about getting to live downtown than living like Dynasty for me.

Gating up the stations could also make for better security while waiting for the train. Anyone have a guest what it would cost to create secured entry to the stations with ticket or phone app entry from outside like other cities.

I can't even remember the last time I saw someone checking tickets on a train. The honor system only works if it is policed heavily otherwise we need to gate up the whole system and if caught without a ticket the penalty is way higher.

Imagine having the new AT&T campus and Amazon all in the same area of downtown. I like the Victory plan as it would build towards that edge of downtown and on the other side would be AT&T and it would all merge together.

That pocket from the Katy Trail over to central bound by HP to the north and Knox to the south is ripe for exactly more of this type of height and density. Imagine how cool if that Knox-Henderson station was open. I don't get the Cotton Belt line most of those people that live in that area would take Uber to the airport and even more so in the future. DART needs to serve the urban going forward that is where it will find riders.

I surely think we are going to see a washing out of this industry as the margins are stretched too thin too many options and the commercial rents are too high to make a profit. I give it another year then the closings in mass.
