Re: Could Dallas land Amazon HQ '2'?

The powers that be in Texas, especially in the Governor's office know the impact bills like that cost the state and obviously there are elected officials on both sides of the aisle that also understand the impact. Never underestimate the power of legislators to enact laws that don't serve the state ...

On a more exciting side note....the first residential tower floor is being poured today. I believe this would be the 9th floor which is also shared but clearly separate from the garage roof. From here the residential tower should start to emerge.

Re: Could Dallas land Amazon HQ '2'?

I am not sure why we even pretend like we have a chance at this. Amazon absolutely will not move to a place that is located in a state that probably will have a bathroom bill passed during the next legislative session. I recently attended a presentation by a state house rep that talked about this i...

I would assume that a number of tenants that backed out would still be open to signing a new lease... And I'm sure they've been working over the past year or so to get new commitments. I doubt they would get any new funding if they didn't already have some signed leases. I'm just confused as to whe...

I'm surprised by the lack of coverage on this one and if you look closely you can see they will only be covering a portion of the Field Street side, the part that faces the plaza which would eventually disappear behind the residential tower where the glass would end. I assume they won't cover the ba...

Will have to see how it gets reborn, that's a pretty big hole in the ground for whatever ends up going on top of it. Wade Park was a very ambitious project and maybe it would have done better had it come out of the ground on schedule and not get delayed. That delay seemed to benefit Legacy West.

That theater looks stellar, hope that brings people into the area. I guess with the parking garage at Cinepolis it would create a easier spot to park and take advantage of the entertainment. Is the parking at the movie theater restricted to movie goers or is it flexible?
