I'm all for recycling/composting and making wise choices and I am willing to do things I am sure nobody on my block is doing to protect habitat and so on but the ban on plastic straws movement is dumb.

I personally like paper, I have my own bags too but I always forget to bring them so they don't do much good. Paper bags hold more, plastic bags hold less so you get tons of them. Plastic may be cheaper than paper but encouraging people to bring their own is cheaper than either option and you do see...

Cinepolis is pricey but where I live most of the year, we almost always see movies at Cinepolis or The Lot (a comparable luxury theater chain) because those places are a really convenient/fun/easy family night out. It looks like a great place to see a movie and is probably worth the time and money ...

I think people plan to stop at them, clean restrooms and the lack of food between Houston and Dallas makes this the perfect place to plan a stop. Get fueled up, load up on crap food and move on.

I keep seeing more and more of the glass appearing on this building and still think it looks dark. It doesn't look bad and in fact the design elements in the glass look good it's just darker than I had imagined it would be but most of Harwoods building exteriors are.

Awesome shots of the AMLI tower, workers have been doing some work on the south end of the parking garage. It looks like they are preparing to install the glass but no confirmation on that.
