I believe the roadwork will be done as part of the larger redevelopment approved on that stretch of roadway because the developer was trying to get city approval for a new roadway configuration as part of his larger project to add retail and office space along there.

I like transit in this town and I can agree with that statement. DART aka Dallas in general likes the pricey option but doesn't go all the way either so its always pricey cheap quality if that makes sense. Too much for what we get but not enough to be an actual high-quality product.

I would still have preferred an Alamo but with the Alamo group taking the Tom Thumb down the way for a much larger number of theaters without the parking fight from the neighborhood this is what I expected. As long as its not another Naturals grocery store I am for it.
