Not really sure what's going on here but it looks like the underground portion of the garage and some kind of retaining wall.

I'm finding lots of goodies in the archives of The Thanks-Giving Foundation (albums of photos/slides of downtown Dallas in the 1960s-1980s). Digitizing everything will be a big undertaking. Re: Could Dallas land Amazon HQ '2'?

So basically Amazon is saying we'd rather not build at all than bring 1/2 of the HQ2 to Dallas (or Charlotte, or Chicago, or Austin, or Atlanta)… Maybe things will change, but I sort of see it as they're still not very high on Dallas or any of the other cities. What I can see happening here is Amaz...

Based on the rendering, it looks like it could be near the intersection of Riverfront and Parkhouse. How great would it be to get a Hard Rock Hotel after the Grand Prairie plans fell through.

As long as Fort Worth continues to market itself as cowtown and "where the west begins" there will be no Austin-like cool factor.

If that retail space was built for a restaurant use, it may be easier to lease than the Commerce storefronts here and at Mercantile Commerce that never got filled. The fact that there's now dedicated parking should help.
