Not sure when this was installed, but Union Station has lights embedded in the platform that blink red when a train is approaching. Wonder if they plan on installing these elsewhere or just at the TRE transfer points.

I like the updated design. Assuming we're looking at the same side, they now have a tier on top plus a diagonal corner, and they've eliminated that hideous blank wall on top of the parking structure.

It's just a nail salon, but Pink Toes Nail Bar is relocating from the Metropolitan to the Tower Garage next to the Crossfit-type gym (PAC-ELM or whatever it's called now). Significant because this particular space has been vacant for at least 12 years.

Don't forget that the Feizy Center is becoming a Tru by Hilton. Technically in the Design District but it's closer to Oak Lawn than the Marriott Uptown is.

Not sure how this compares in price to the Hilton Canopy at West Village, but it should be a nice alternative to that and the Intercontinental once it opens across Central Expressway.
