Re: Arts District: Flora & Olive Tower (~441 FT / ~39 ST)

With the way the balconies jut out st that angle, it feels like the face of the tower facing Museum Tower curves a little.

I don't really mind those apartments. They look out of place but are bringing 500 families into down town Dallas.

Re: Victory Park 3.0

What I am curious to know is will Gaglardi make a contract to have the visiting NHL teams use his hotel since it will be right next to the AAC?

from the DMN article..

“He said he wanted to build a hotel,” Lites said. “He said he wanted his signature building in Dallas to be next to the arena."

I see the spot where the Bank of America drive through bank is and i would love to see a big tall tower go up there. It would fill in nicely.

I'm still disappointed in this lot. I like the building, just wish it had gone to another plot of land so we could get a tower over 500 Ft.

It's not the Mandarin, but I think this looks better. Glad to see VP filled up! never would have thought it possible back in 2005.

It looks good. In 2005 I would have never imagined Deep Ellum would house institutes like this.

Re: DALLAS to HOUSTON High Speed Rail

wow. the Cali bullet train has gotten out of control. This is why it needs to be ran by a private company and investors and not the government. It cant even go high speed when and if finished because all the towns it has to stop in. Train to no where.
