Overall, yes I agree too. As long as DFW still performs relatively well, I'm fine with that. There's only so much we can do, as a city, and if the entire country is experiencing a bit of a slowdown, you can't really fault individuals cities for also slowing down with it.

Oak Lawn has gentrified, but I don't think the name itself has quite the appeal that "Turtle Creek" or "Uptown" do, at least not yet.

Terrible news. Just when I thought we were making some decent progress in the CBD, something like this happens.

The rest of Downtown seems to be slowly coming along together, but I still think we are at a pretty critical stage and mistakes like this can hurt the area quite a bit.
