I'm imagining Downtown Dallas looking like the area around UT in Austin on Gameday. It's really cool to be in Austin on gameday and see everyone out and about wearing burnt orange. Would love to see something like that in Downtown as well.

As much as I hate highways cutting through our Downtown, it's hard for me to make an argument to tear down I-345. Isn't the change in Deep Ellum just more of a sign of the changing times, more than anything? The whole grunge/metal/punk rock thing isn't as popular as it was back in the 90s, so Deep Ellum today is just a reflection on how society has changed.

I'm still surprised there are no plans for a pedestrian bridge over 75. I get that the two trails do technically connect right now, but most people aren't using that connection, and the activity just sorta dies right as you approach 75.
