People aren't rubes because they have a different POV or priorities than you, or they support a different candidate than yours. I really wish people would stop denigrating others based on their political affiliation.

One would have to assume Austin would be the favorite but obviously it would be tremendous if TikTok ended up here in Dallas. Imagine them ending up in the rumored high rise at Pearl and Pacific, right near Uber. Man.

The new RH store appears to be topped out. They seem to be starting an above ground parking garage in back. I haven't been paying close attention to RH's plans for a hotel so this may be irrelevant, but I wonder if the garage will be built in a way that it can potentially accommodate a future hotel...

That's what it seemed like to me. The Stemmons corridor was the hot new area but as people, development, and tenants moved north, it stagnated.

Hopefully with the growth of the Design District and the eventual reconstruction of Stemmons, that the Stemmons corridor would experience a rebirth.

Poor pedestrian infrastructure is partly why the scooters are such an issue. According to the Downtown Residents FB group, people riding the scooters on sidewalks are "terrorizing" pedestrians and in several instances, running over their dogs.

I wish the top row of the facade grid had increased to 6 storeys from 5, instead of decreasing to 4. A decrease to 4 makes it visually need a heavier cornice line to culminate the wall. Otherwise its composition will appear like it only ran out of steam, which is what it appears like right now. I h...

This one really needed to be brick or stone. The painted white concrete looks cheap as hell and ruins the building's aesthetic, to the point that it's an eyesore in the skyline. I know they're not yet done, and hopefully there's still time to fix this, but I couldn't be more disappointed by how this...

The orientation of the buildings should be reversed in that they should step up in height from the West End. It's probably moot because this project isn't happening anyway, but if they're going to plan it they may as well plan it "correctly." :)
