I took my daughter there last month and our experience was good. They didn't have a broad selection, but it was pretty late at night on a week day. If they can fix their quality issues (e.g., the above photo), they should do well.

In San Diego, Sunroad Enterprises built higher than what was allowed by the FAA and naturally, the FAA forced them to remove the top few floors from their building so that it was no longer considered a hazard. How many people would actually be walking around Deep Ellum in the middle of the afternoon on any weekend from late May to late September? It's definitely possible. Palm Springs gets hotter than Dallas in the summer, but that doesn't stop folks from shopping around, hanging out on patios, attending...

I wonder about that shopping center. That location is ideal for a significant development which would be the nexus of two of the city's more happening areas, Henderson and Lower Greenville, and could help to extend that momentum south down Ross Ave.

Well, the loopnet listing was updated just 4 days ago. However, it's not the cylindrical design that was once kicked around. I kinda hope Clutch and Concrete end up on Ross Ave, a little further north so as to help bridge the gap with Lower Greenville, but I'm guessing they both end up in the vicinity of City Lights, Backyard, Bottled Blonde, and all that.

The site previously announced for the McKinney/Boll tower was on the southeast corner so yes, it would seem this is another, separate project (this one on the northeast corner) making a grand total of THREE potential new towers at this intersection. Wow!
