I don't get that either. It sounds like she likes the idea of open space, like it's a park or something, but the building's "open" space is all driveways and ramps.

The arena was actually built to attract national sporting events as well... Games for the 1st and 2nd Round of the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament will be played here in 2022 (that's a big deal). It's also scheduled to host the NCAA Gymnastics Championship this April. Texas A&M and UT are havi...

Re: Fort Worth: Dickies Arena

The seating capacity for this arena is only 14,000. Far too small for an NBA franchise. I didn't understand the point of going to such expense to build an arena which would never be suitable for major sports events or franchises. Concerts, Rodeo's, small convention space... Yea. Another 200,000 cars a day on those city streets would be SO much better. It would be better. 200,000 cars on 8 lanes (now) vs. spread across the 20-30 lanes of surface streets is much better. Beyond that, there are notions about tunneling the freeway, which while expensive, could ease the min...

There's a proposed rezoning for Gung Ho (z189-333). I'm not sure how to search for zoning requests but I wonder what's changing.

It's a cool space but their business has fallen off bigtime and they've simplified their menu, in my opinion to the point of mediocrity.
