That does look similar to an upper floor I've been on there. If it's ready to open, it has to be in an existing building. Otherwise, downtown land prices would probably be too much for a small-format hostel. Good idea, but I would have thought Deep Ellum or maybe the Cedars before putting it in DTD.

D Magazine's latest take on the latest I-30 plan is that the widening isn't as necessary as recommended, because in their view, I-30's traffic count hasn't really increased enough for adding more lanes.

Concern arising in north Fort Worth as a proposed Ikea store at I-35W/N. Tarrant Pkwy. north of the US 287 split has not yet broken ground. As far as the new black mast-arm lights, only the ones facing eastbound Commerce/Pearl are on. All the other mast-arms are dormant, even though they have the blue street signs on them. OMG. Stay Alfred also deals with the residences at the LTV Tower and the Mayflower. I didn't understand it myself. It was kind of "look at me, look at me, I have more signs than the other malls". With most malls, you see signs for the anchors and the mall itself, and that's it. I guess the addition of the Hyatt will make it stand out in a different way now.
