Wow, our real estate is among the most valuable in the nation, and we have one of the highest property tax percentages in the country, but our city still can't pay for police, keep roads in decent condition, beautify, build parks, upkeep schools, really nothing. Sad to see this. 1700 Pacific is where I worked when I first moved here back in 2001. At the time, I thought it was the coolest building ever. I was on the 34th floor, overlooking the greatest city in the world. I thought I had died and gone to heaven.

So, based on the Planning Commision application, it will be 39 floors and 432 feet. NOT taller than the W after all. So, somebody saw the 39 floors and made an incorrect assumption?
