Parking info here: http://toyotamusicfactory.com/plan-your-visit/directions-and-parking/ Looks like garage parking for restaurant patrons should always be available and free. Thanks for linking the article. The article states something interesting at the end, “Gables has even retained a small building site at the west side of Water Street where the developer could potentially add a high-rise.”

Do it. High rise condos would sell like hot cakes. I’ll take one.

They probably meant in and out of the core. Boston is a completely different beast for sure. The T was my bread and butter for four years. Re: Could Dallas land Amazon HQ '2'?

I really like the attempts to build up DART. But sunbelt cities don’t compete on the transit. They are built for cars and Dallas especially. That the light rail is large just shows how sprawling the metroplex is, not how great dart is. Anecdotes about taking the DART are most often about how slow it...

Awful lot of groan-inducing pablum in that list. I’ll just highlight the one I groaned the loudest at: “home to the largest light rail” As this recent article makes evident, the DART is useless for most people, especially the ones that need it the most. https://www.dmagazine.com/frontburner/2017/10/...

I don't know if I would want a 1,500 footer in Dallas until two or three new ~1,100 footers set a foundation in the clouds. I have a hard time believing that it's that high. What will be of DFW if housing isn't affordable anymore? $2000/month isn't unreasonable for someone making north of $70k/year. With combined incomes, it's not unreasonable for young professional couples to find "affordable" one bedrooms in...
