I really think D2 is a total mess with this portal system and it's Victory Park route. We need D2 badly, but part of me wonders if it's worth it if it get poorly constructed. This west portal goes right through the recently purchased South Asian Museum land, and then the east portal is a mess when i...

I've seen the equity package for that JPI deal. It's a typical wrap apartment project starting on the northeast corner of the parcel on Carroll that was acquired from Trammel Crow and stretching south along the eastern property boundary. Initial plan is/was 430 units on 5 acres. Zero percent chance...

I wonder if there is any chance that there could be a future extension from the perimeter to downtown. I'm sure if it was the other way around, there would many prominent local pompom-shakers and developers chomping at the bit here to figure out a way for an extension the rest of the way to downtow...

Two Arts Plaza -Billlingsley

Found a brochure for Two Arts Plaza on the Billingsley website. I'm inclined to believe that it's a relatively recent plan seeing that Playwright Pub is included in the brochure (and that bar didn't open until earlier this year). It's definitely about time that they got something rolling over here. ...

I think another Northpark expansion is just a huge fairytale. They've been teasing us with it since at least 2006. Please correct me if I’m wrong (because I’m not totally certain by any means), but I was under the impression that they didn’t need the OLC’s approval to build here? I hate to be a downer, but such a disappointing project from TC. I wish they would build a mixed-use building here. Probably not the most trafficked area for street side retail, but that doesn't mean that it wouldn't help the area or be a start.
