If they are not careful the I-345 teardown advocates will fall into the trap of pushing for the resurrection of the Trinity River Tollroad. There are a lot of snakes laying out there in the grass for the tollroad to come back.

Yes, it was an amazing sight to get that bonus coverage. The quality is not all that great though. Have to stay a couple thousand feet up to keep the resolution from getting too blurry.

Disaster. No one wants that stupid on grade bike lane except consultants who want to eat through the budget. This is not what was presented to City Hall when the board of that organization came for public funding. Very sad and awful plan.

Milam does provide an important role. Many of the children attending Milam have parents who work in service sector jobs in Uptown but live elsewhere. DISD has a program in place that provides parents the ability to drop off their kids at Milam close to their places of employment.

There is no challenge of skill when it comes to Trinity Forest. High School kids, NCAA teams and veterans groups destroy that course under par. It sure is a river bottom. It has been a river bottom since the end of the last Ice Age. Or longer. Matter of fact one can find the ancient meanders of the river inside the floodplain where the man made current channel resides.
