This seems more like an inexpensive hotel than a hostel. Backpackers staying in hostels are looking to pay about half that amount or less to share a room with others. This has definitely been dallasized.

Re: DISD Administration Building

Personally, I'd only consider The Spire and also Smart City to be the only 'huge swaths of urban land' that may or may not be developed this cycle. Everything else would either be an area that is not all that important at the moment, or the land isn't really large enough to negatively effect the su...

Re: DISD Administration Building

I certainly hope that we are not about to see a repeat of what has happened in Dallas for decades now; developers come in with grand plans, clear cut huge swaths of urban land, the economy falters, and we are left with vast areas of dead space for years until the next wave of development. Creates re...

The road patchwork looks really terrible. I agree..... It's not just in this location either. Whoever is in charge of patching roads is doing a terrible job. The area where Harry Hines meets Akard in front of The Union is deplorable. They patched it up many months ago, did a terrible, ugly, uneven ...

Hope they can get that graffiti off the front I was wondering what graffiti you are referring to. I wonder where all that empty acreage is in New York City. I have rarely ever seen an empty space there. Rochester, buffalo, Houston, Tampa, etc....less available space than nyc and Chicago. I have been to all theses cities, this report is highly questionable.

I don’t know who we think we are kidding. We have no chance with this. Dan Patrick easily won his primary, and will probably trounce the Democrat in November.
