It's a shame because that interchange is dying to have some ramps. It's rough to go through there even without rush hour, especially going westbound 114 to northbound PGBT.

Concrete maintenance is way cheaper than lawn maintenance. Plus that rendering makes the fountain look like one of those fountains in plazas that kids run through like Sundance Square.

lol all because you had an obnoxious cop in JAX doesn't mean it's the same everywhere. Never had a problem at any other airport, even at super aggressive MCI cops or the overcrowded DAL drop off/pick up zones. I'm actually really surprised DFW still let you loiter at an airport entrance.

Surely the new plans do not involve the current building? It has to cost more to have security/maintain the building than to just bulldoze it?

Personally I think the best non-DAL/DFW airport that could successfully do it would be McKinney. With Collin County's huge population boom, there's plenty of room at that airport to build a terminal and start small services, similar to Everett.

Corporate extended stays tend to go for higher dollar than a normal tenant, and since it's a full unit with kitchens and bedrooms it's more desirable.
