I know this is an unpopular opinion, I think the location of the airport and all the dealerships will always yield a low density neighborhood down lemmon once you get west of Turtle Creek.

I do enjoy what Collin County in general has to offer. I know a lot of people my age (upper 20s) still despise leaving the 635 "wall" but I think The Colony/Plano/Frisco offers a LOT for the age group if you're stuck working up there. There's so many good food and bar options now too. Unfo...

None of those bars on that strip should aim for flashy/fancy/trendy. Just not the right spot in Uptown. There's a reason The Loon and Quarter Bar have outlasted the others.

I mean, it's January. I would think it's temporary covering for the patio so they can fill more tables. Close it in and heat it and you can use those tables where you would otherwise not be able to when it's cold outside and open air. I bet once it warms up they remove it.

It could very likely be a phased open. There's no way the lower floors aren't close to being completely outfitted and finished. They will release a few floors every month or two probably. Not that unusual, you even see Texas Doughnut complexes do it.

This is surprising. There are great breaks in traffic that allows safe crossing even without the cross walk signs but if it means wider sidewalks then I have no complaints here :)

Probably realized having a large open lobby was easier to maintain and cheaper to build than a massive 8+ story atrium while still being able to provide the same amenities. Plus it allows them to enter smaller markets that wouldn't justify a massive hotel.
