It does sound like they're at least committing to some short-term beautification enhancements (potted plants, etc). I think even that would make a positive impact. It's cool to see stuff like this done while the larger changes are churned through the gears of bureaucracy.

Apparently the redesign on this property is on-hold again as Dreien Partners couldn't reach a deal with Amazing Jakes to sell. Between this development, Lava Cantina, the Box Garden, the Star, Toyota Stadium (aka Jimmy Buffet/Edgefest stadium) , there are quite a few options up this way. What venues are these spots taking away from? It seems they each serve a slightly different tier.
