For those curious, I just did a calculation off a zip line tutorial, and the Dallas-to-Houston zip line would only need to be about 60,000 feet tall. Totally doable!

I'll be curious to see if there's a strengthening of pedestrian/bike connections between the East Quarter and Deep Ellum. It's a short distance, but IMO not necessarily an inviting walk.

My wife uses the pickup option and Walmart and loves it. Having kids, the ability to shop for everything online then go pick it up quickly at the store (for free, without having to get out of the car) is a massive convenience.

That's a pretty solid area for a mixed-use development. There's opportunity to connect to some parks and the Starscenter as well. Though the concepts look like a strip center, which is lame (not unexpected I suppose), but at least the tenants are unique.

For those curious, the old Sears building has been essentially torn down. Now it's a matter of clearing out all the rubble.

Happy to see some progress and looking forward to the Lifetime Fitness complex starting to take shape.

I went to the location in Las Colinas and wasn't real blown away by it. It was before a concert at the Toyota Music Factory, so the place (along with every other restaurant) was packed. I'm guessing they just didn't have the non-event day business to sustain what amounts to an expensive Arby's.
