Bird scooters may also be coming to town. The ones from LA area. Members of Downtown Dallas, Inc. were riding some around downtown or at least posing with the scooters the other day.

I wonder if any of the news outlets hungry for HQ2 analysis appetizers have noticed that the Dallas submission is a multi-county submission across a wide metropolitan region, yet, only called Dallas. NY/NJ having two, and NOVA/DC/MD having three, are just not consolidated metropolitan submissions (o...

Trinity Metro (FWTA 'The T')

I figured since I want to talk about a name change, there should be an overall bus system thread for FWTA. I don't have much to add regarding the bus system at the moment, however, I did want to note that FWTA voted yesterday for a re-branding of their services. I am not clear if the new name, Trini...

I find the old-school rooftop water tank above the DART-station-facing garage a unique touch all things considered. Nice little nod, although I'd love to see a couple of fairly tall ornamental smoke-stacks retro-fitted into a couple of non-diagonal corners of the AAC to really add a nod to history a...

The Ritz complex was also very slow as well. I believe Tower One above the hotel took a good 6-7 years (give or take a few months or so) to sell-out or nearly sell-out before sustaining high-ninety percentile turnovers of move-outs/move-ins. Tower Two had a slightly faster fill-up even with more uni...
