Re: Dallas Smart District

I like how they show Fire Station #4 at the beginning of the construction video and then suddenly at the end it looks like a beer garden. Seems like that may be just the case. Roll-up interior opens to the outside sort of gig. We all might want to collectively check and see if Hook & Ladder 4 i...

Also, just google "Project Coast". Homework first even if it seems a no-brainer/simple harmless title. Always check, just in case. Like spell-check, with about an extra 4 seconds to read the headers that appear.

Back on it, though, I'll play and say maybe it's energy-related.

The Ritz-Carlton plans to re-open tomorrow on a super small scale. Fearing's restaurant looks to be re-opening for just dinners Thursday-Saturday. That should include Rattlesnake Bar and the outdoor Live Oak Bar. Spa open, too. Because money. No likely large un-furloughing expected for ages, though....

In the image showing a Frisco line, all other previous images for 15-20 years show that going to DT Carrollton and jetting down the west side of the green line down towards an Irving TRE station. Addendum: I do think LRT redundancy would be very nice, but, at all cost isn't necessarily the solution. I think a streetcar network can do what it does at it's level of capacity which is currently separate from our LRT regional system, however, at some point we do need to just run a damn line somew...

Wolfgang Puck catering op at Union Station is indeed still in business, I went ahead and called them out of curiosity. There's likely another internal entrance/exit after that drive. It looks possibly open-air partially factoring rendering lighting or just straight up covered. So maybe that's where cart users would go to and fro to their vehicles. And, the pedestrians perhaps will use the streetside entrance.

There's another rendering in the article posted above showing an entrance right next to a garage entrance/exit. Also, now this evening, much if not all of 1401 Elm's barricades have been re-arranged for a possible base camp across Elm St. Or some such use. . .

Guarantee some Metra stations aren't or weren't in the mid-2000s.

I can attest Metra UP North line was pretty solid though. At least in my own observations between Waukegan and northside - Rogers Park. Great Lakes station was actually a nice sight to see daily.
