I will say they did get some serious wind... Half the utility poles right there along Beltline were knocked down and some were even snapped in half. Tons more leaning over. They must have gotten 80+ straight line winds. Still cause for concern though!

The early success of The Henry is the reason I've always thought a Hillstone, Houston's or Café R&D (all same company) would absolutely clean-up with an Uptown location.

A quick glance at the website indicates the approx. pricing for apartments...

1 Bedroom- $2500 / 2 Bedroom- $6000 / 3 Bedroom- $12,000

I'm assuming they can find enough gullible buyers to pay these prices. I mean don't get me wrong, the finish-outs are spectacular!

Don't forget, there's still 7K sq ft of restaurant space next to where Chase is. I think the plan was always to have an upscale restaurant, casual restaurant and a grab-n-go spot. I bet we'll see something more approachable go in as well!

Thanks for the update! I've been really impressed by this one. I wonder how well the restaurants are going to do in the evening... I imagine they'll get a HH bump from all the workers, and obviously they'll be brisk at lunch, but curious how they'll fair on say a Saturday night?!

So basically Amazon is saying we'd rather not build at all than bring 1/2 of the HQ2 to Dallas (or Charlotte, or Chicago, or Austin, or Atlanta)… Maybe things will change, but I sort of see it as they're still not very high on Dallas or any of the other cities.

Pretty much all of the retail space has been leased at The Union... Creamistry is the latest to sign a lease, and the last available retail spot is currently "at lease". I drove by this weekend and The Henry is looking pretty sweet!
