Re: Knox / Henderson - Knox Street Side

I had always hoped that McKinney Ave would develop the way Knox has (but X4)- from the Crescent down to West Village. Sort of one long shopping / dining destination. Having a McKinney Ave address comes with a premium rental price yet there is very little on McKinney Ave to justify it IMO. Knox / Hen...

I guess I'm lucky that I live close enough that I can walk... I know it's only a few dollars to park (assuming you get 2 hours free) but it just smacks of greed to be honest! Spent a few different nights down around the Music Factory. Been having a good time! Pretty impressed with the C Bar and Mart...

Well I can report that service has improved from Monday night then... Went to Alamo Drafthouse last night. Anyone going to the Grand Opening festivities this weekend? Re: Las Colinas/North Irving Development

I always thought it was a mistake by ARK to not only lease them 6 spots, but to give them virtually full control of the Plaza. If you remember, some of the original concepts were going to be an Irish style Pub and a place akin to Hook, Line & Sinker. I get that they're really trying to create a ...

Re: Las Colinas/North Irving Development

Yea, honestly this type of concept wouldn't even work in Uptown or Plano. I give them credit for being bold and wanting to really turn this into a place of 24-7 music but it's not realistic. This would work in New Orleans, New York and maybe Nashville but that's about it. The success of this type of...

This might be a dumb question, and I honestly don't know the answer. But let's say it's after 9pm and me and some friends want to grab a burger at Highway 61 South. Re: Victory Park 3.0

I don't really think Victory is a good fit for Amazon. It was too many cobbled together parcels and seemed a bit spread-out to make sense. The Smart District makes far more sense to me. Plus, if this tower was going to be for Amazon and they needed 500K sq ft we'd see them just add 2 or 3 more floor...

Stopped by The Music Factory a few times this weekend... Speaking of the Omni, this place is long overdue for a remodel. From the entrance to the pool area, from the lobby to the rooms it's all very outdated.
