Re: Las Colinas/North Irving Development

^^ Yea, if you walk around to the other side of the building you can look up and into where Alamo will be. There's a little bit of work that's been done but it's still basically a shell. YardHouse seems to be a getting a bit closer. I would say YardHouse might be open mid-January.

Re: Could Dallas land Amazon HQ '2'?

If Texas is too conservative for Amazon then so be it... I think the argument could be made that what might not be attractive to Amazon is also the thing that has helped us attract a number of companies to the State! People still keep flocking here so it can't be all that bad. I think we tend to sel...

So it looks like Thirsty Lion at the TMF is opening on October 31st. They've been doing some pretty intensive staff training for the past 3-4 nights. Place looks really cool! Also sounds like this sports bar chain is headed to 635 between the now under construction Whisky Cake and PINSTACK. https://...

Not sure what the market is for a high-end steakhouse, but seems like on the ground floor of The Towers would be a good fit (along with a coffee shop). I'm sort of imagining what the Crescent has done in Uptown. I'm still boggled that Starbucks / Dunkin hasn't leased a spot in Water Street.

I don't know how much consideration the old Texas Stadium site would receive from Amazon, but it does have a lot going for it.
