12-15 restaurants/bars and a concert venue is attempting to create an entirely new district of downtown within a few short years. Well, godspeed. After the east quarter, this is the next neglected pocket of the loop that I'm hoping gets more attention, followed by the smart district area after that....

A supertall would have been nice, but I'm happy for anything taller than Museum Tower getting built.
I just hope it's visually interesting. This and the Field st district will serve as the visual bookends of that side of downtown for anyone at Klyde Warren.

I'm so curious to see how this turns out for the Carrollton station. This corner of the metroplex already feels delightfully chaotic with the the green line, 35E, and the freight lines--with an over+underpass sandwiched between it all. Throwing another rail line into the mix should be fun.

Well any Austin route I expect to have a stop in Waco. Maybe the King and Queen of Waco would give them a bakery space in whatever development they're sure to build next to this hypothetical station lol

This is one of the projects I'm most excited for. Spruce up the street and sidewalks and this building absolutely could serve as a central hub of pedestrian activity. It's a gem of a building.

Those apartments need to be bulldozed yesterday. I suppose it's only a matter of time, but gosh they have been such a waste of space that destroys the walkability of that area.

Anyways, happy to see more Victory surface lots building up. This area is a far cry from what it was just a decade ago.

It sure does look like 2010s Dallas, for better and for worse. Reminds me a lot of what's gone up in Legacy.

This rendering is particularly optimistic with already putting an additional high rise on the other side of the portal.

Every time I see this place I almost can't get over how much of an eyesore that skybridge is. :lol: It's slanted, doesn't match the aesthetic of its buildings, and is laughably high off the ground.
Fortunately the view facing the Adolphus will be much better.
