The shopping center should have been torn down and rebuilt as mixed use with parking garages, residential, retail, etc in a walkable village.

Ah okay. :)

I'm still pretty sure Aesop will be replacing Ilori. As for Tom's I always thought they'd go on L2 by The Walking Company and Journeys, it's interesting that they could be going in the Nordstrom L1 area.

Odd when I go on the NP website and look at the map, I don't see any of that and those stores were open when I went to the movies there last night. Also, I think Lilly Pulitzer went into the previous Gymboree space.

I'm confused. Is Talbot's and Splendid closing their stores? And you have Kids Atelier going into the previous "Gymboree". Would that possibly be the previous Teavana?

The sidewalks were improved on the Hunkys/Roundup Block and not really any neighborhood interruptions. I'm sure they could find a way to do this in a smart manner.

Hi-Line and Oak Lawn have great streetscape designs. I think Slocum and Dragon could be designed better with actual sidewalks, street lamps, planters, etc. to make it look like more of a complete street scene.

I always find it funny when I see these developments like this and the Richards Group buildings that have HUGE parking garages, but still feel the need to put in surface parking. Just make the first of level or two of the garage for visitors and deliveries.
