There appears to be some build out taking place in the previous Idle Rich space on McKinney. I don't know why they didn't just let Idle Rich stay open. I felt like they were a good neighborhood spot that didn't get too wild.
Supposedly Saint Laurent and Balenciaga will move to the vacant spots in the luxury wing.. which leads to question what will take their spots in HPV Very interesting. I hope HP Village continues to do well. Some stores are a better fit at NorthPark. There are multiple spaces opening up at NorthPark...
I feel like NorthPark is getting heavy on makeup stores. I remember when they got all of the high end watch stores around the same time. Now it's makeup. I would like to see more unique clothing stores that aren't ultra luxury.
Ilori has closed and the build out for Aesop has started. The new David Yurman is very nice and the old space has bee consolidated with a portion of the previous Design Within Reach for the new Ferragamo. This has created a new smaller space that will eventually house the new Versace location. Sperr...
Moncler is very nice, but yes... I have to agree. It would suffer the same fate Manrico Cashmere did in the past. Beautiful stuff, wrong climate. COS and Uniqlo would be great and I'm surprised Topshop still hasn't opened a store here.
I'm still pretty sure Aesop will be replacing Ilori. As for Tom's I always thought they'd go on L2 by The Walking Company and Journeys, it's interesting that they could be going in the Nordstrom L1 area.
Odd when I go on the NP website and look at the map, I don't see any of that and those stores were open when I went to the movies there last night. Also, I think Lilly Pulitzer went into the previous Gymboree space.
