Moncler is very nice, but yes... I have to agree. It would suffer the same fate Manrico Cashmere did in the past. Beautiful stuff, wrong climate. COS and Uniqlo would be great and I'm surprised Topshop still hasn't opened a store here.
I'm still pretty sure Aesop will be replacing Ilori. As for Tom's I always thought they'd go on L2 by The Walking Company and Journeys, it's interesting that they could be going in the Nordstrom L1 area.
Odd when I go on the NP website and look at the map, I don't see any of that and those stores were open when I went to the movies there last night. Also, I think Lilly Pulitzer went into the previous Gymboree space.
Hi-Line and Oak Lawn have great streetscape designs. I think Slocum and Dragon could be designed better with actual sidewalks, street lamps, planters, etc. to make it look like more of a complete street scene.
This model of luxury and high-end everything just makes this end of Uptown dead. Look what happened to the first round at Victory Park. Compare that to Uptown North of Maple Ave. a totally different atmosphere.
