They were said to move to NP when YSL was announced to move. I imagine this is the previous temporary Louis Vuitton space across from YSL.

Dr Martens is opening at NP on the upper level by Lids and the Swarovski store remodel should be completed soon.

I’m shocked they didn’t put shrubbery along the fence to block the view of the parking lot. OLC should require new surface lots to be more aesthetically pleasing and properly landscaped.

Luckily this isn’t all office space. And luckily this isn’t some vacant lot currently. I’d rather see our vacant spaces be filled in before this is built though.

Re: Downtown Dallas: Newpark Dallas/Smart District

This area is by far the most neglected section of DTD. Any attention to this area is a good thing. I do think filling in the surface lots around East Quarter will be more of a game changer for DTD, but this development is also very important to the area. Slowly the different sections of the core are...

What a great spot for a tower, at least from a Downtown perspective. It'll partially cover up the dull-looking Sheraton and make use of a relatively undesirable lot. Win win. VC&A stores aren’t usually that big and being wedged between those other two stores would be a better space for them.
