They do seem to be designed poorly and if someone is waiting at a red light in a vehicle there, another car doesn’t have space to turn onto Throckmorton. Traffic has been backing up.

Van Cleef & Arpels is a great addition. A Baccarat store would also be a good fit in one of the small spaces if one were to become available. Still waiting on Prada to return to this shopping center.

I hate how Candy’s Dirt will always spin that low height and setbacks make a project better. If that mindset is continued, are we allowing Central Dallas to live up to its potential as an urban area?

It also looks like the parking in front of Hunky's will now be a plaza. They eliminated all the straight in parking right next to the intersection of Cedar Springs and Throckmorton. The city has also built curb bump-outs at the intersection to narrow traffic from highspeed turns on the north side. ...

Many malls are rethinking their space and incorporating more uses. Phipps Plaza in Atlanta which also contained a “Luxury” Belk dept store is a good example of this strategy.

The galleria needs to tear down some space. It’s just too big for the current needs. A small format Bloomingdale’s is the only thing that would make sense going on there. Otherwise, a movie theater and some other entertainment would make sense. They could really build off of the ice rink popularity.
