Pure speculation on my part... But perhaps the parking allocation can look better on the marketing flyers if it is not being gobbled up by potential hotel/apartements. Once the bulk of the leasing is done... assuming any agreed lease has parking guarantees written into it, the developer will know if...

California has a mild climate (for the most part), and a natural beauty that few other areas can even come close to. That aspect I miss dearly. And for that reason alone, people will always want to live there, regardless of the meat bags running the state. The government there in essence gets a free...

Re: New Census Population Estimates

LA's biggest issue for some time has been the disparity between income and housing prices. Sure, much of coastal CA is expensive, but nearly all of it makes up with it to a degree with higher incomes. This is not so much the case with Los Angeles, however. One of the reasons transit (particularly 'b...

I'm waiting for them to say that the marble is 'structurally deficient' or something like that, and that it cannot be put back on. There is nothing in particular that leads me to this conclusion, yet I feel like it is a real possibility. What will we do then? Perhaps I'm just being paranoid!

Slightly off topic. But what happened to CityMAP? That plan of rerouting i-30 would be tremendous for the city of Dallas. Particularly for this area. I really wish the stretch of Addison along Belt Line rd were more walkable. Addison is kinda the 'anti-urban' suburb.
