Re: Las Colinas/North Irving Development

Seems like it’s taking forever to repave the street in front of Jinbeh. I feel like the part of Las Colinas Blvd in front of music factory took shorter. Could be my imagination. They had to replace and relocate all the sewer lines... I think the water lines needed to move as well. Such a mess. Glad...

Big Beat - I can't wait for the two outside bars to open. I dig the TV's, but man those bar tables are high. lol. The funny thing is... there is literally NOTHING you have to do to replace the off ramp. The alternative (Good Latimer Exit) is already there, and has been for some time now. There are no reasons to have two exits server the same area. Users would simply have to get used to using the Left Exit inste...

I have a feeling that it's easier to drop stations after the initial Environmental Impact Report, than to not have them on there, and try to include them afterward. Much earlier in this thread (maybe even the old site), I suggested they continue the closure of Live Oak up to the transit center, and probably even the off-ramp itself. It's purpose is really limited under the new alignment.

Even if they only build the first Phase... That is much better than than anything else that has been proposed on this side of 75. Perhaps it sets the table for Skyhouse or someone else to throw in one of the towers afterwards. Being right next to City Place surely means height is not an issue.

There are two distinct site plans for this location. I am curious which one it is... I tend to think it is the one with the 'prettier pictures', but I'm not sure.
