I would love it if that happened! Sprouts would be good at serving a wide swath of the community. I've found their prices to be pretty affordable for most, but they also have a fair amount of healthy food. Hope it graduates past the rumor stage.

I was reading a thread about the Wynnewood Kroger on one of the Oak Cliff Facebook groups, and several people mentioned the rumor of a Sprouts coming to the property that currently houses El Fenix at the SE corner of Colorado and Beckley. Anybody here heard anything about that?

I agree. The better Fiesta's seem to do a good job of serving a number of different communities. They're really unique in that respect.

The quality of products at Trader Joe's is very hit and miss, but after some experimentation I've found the 15 or so items that I like and buy on a regular basis. Good prices! Seems like the first of the two Alamo Manhattan buildings in nearing completion. This one seems to have less retail space than the one on the south side of Davis, but have their been any announcements regarding tenants? Or has anyone heard any rumors?

I think the field is just a visual thing so that they can provide a wide view of what is being built. I love Jeng Chi! I've often said that Richardson is the only suburb I could live in, largely because of Jeng Chi. I might never go north of 635 if it weren't for all the great food in Richardson. Wouldn't want Jeng Chi in Dallas if they couldn't keep up the quality control though.
