They are on 41 and about to go to 42, clearly things are changing as each floor is taking on a slightly different configuration as they move up.

40 story tower here and a 40 story Harwood tower would dramatically change this area and to think even if those two blocks built that high there is still room for more. Can't wait to see what happens with this site but would miss the old El Fenix.

I believe the Sheraton is either considering or already has plans to do some kind of opening towards the park. I remember hearing about that when I toured their event space several months ago. Not sure how that would look since the dock obviously has the best location to open towards the park.

For what it's worth, every non-Dallasite (friends, visitors, work colleagues, etc) I've ever spoke to thought Uptown, LoMac, Victory, Deep Ellum, etc were all part of Downtown. Great pics, have been watching the activity on top all week. They are spending a great deal of time working on the far west side. The floor pattern appears to changing and the first angled roofline should appear on that side now.

Roughly the same height as The Union residential tower, standard uptown height these days. Looks like it will have some lighting feature as well. Glad a new one is getting started, new need a couple more to keep the pipeline of new product going.

Yes, indeed. Looks like 1999 McKinney will now be completely surrounded. I remember not that long ago when they had the best view of the downtown skyline available.

Nice rendering, they are going to get so much blowback on this. They will pull every excuse they can find out of the NIMBY handbook. I hope the zoning is in place and it will make it harder to protest.

As much as I hate highways cutting through our Downtown, it's hard for me to make an argument to tear down I-345. The benefit of tearing down the highway is you connect Downtown and Deep Ellum and also free up land that we can develop on, but, as of today, we still have a ton of empty land in the C...
