Nice rendering, they are going to get so much blowback on this. They will pull every excuse they can find out of the NIMBY handbook. I hope the zoning is in place and it will make it harder to protest.

Construction should pick up on Tuesday, hearing that Brodsky has changed some of the plans and will cut up the old mall into even more pieces basically gutting the mall. This will no longer be a mall at all and will be a series of office buildings with some retail scattered about in between the off...

As much as I hate highways cutting through our Downtown, it's hard for me to make an argument to tear down I-345. The benefit of tearing down the highway is you connect Downtown and Deep Ellum and also free up land that we can develop on, but, as of today, we still have a ton of empty land in the C...

Drove by the park today, got a quick look and saw that lots of trees have been planted. Looked good from what I was able to see with some of the trees being fairly large. Can't wait to see how this looks once the trees leaf out.

There seems to have been complete silence about the artists lofts portion of this project. Is it still happening? The website for the building says nothing about lofts, just says 364 luxury tower units. https://www.atelierdallas.com/cs/dallas-tx-apartments.asp But it is mentioned in this July 2018 ...

I like all the ideas being thrown around, personally hope they keep the towers and find a way to erase the parking with lots of mixed use, maybe even add a couple large residential towers to help provide much needed housing and a fresh look along Stemmons.

If you pull up the KDC webcam you get a fairly good feel, imagine this plus the proposed Hines office tower. One can get a sense that DE will one day be surrounded by a mix of higher density residential and office products.

What floor are we on? I think they are working on 31 right now. Could be wrong. I counted yesterday and they appear to be on level 32 which with no 13 would be floor 33?
