The new ramps along Stemmons will be a lot taller than I expected. Many of the columns are pretty tall in spots. Hopefully, it won’t look like the elevated express lanes further north on Stemmons. Glass curtain wall has started going up on the residential tower and it appears they are on the 15th floor which accounts for the missing 13th. So that would leave 13 more? She's about to peak over the top of KPMG tower here before too much longer.

Nice article and some good points. Have to ask the question, why on earth would the city waste money on a visitor center? People still use those things? Don't most people just ask their phones for information now? That seems very....old world.

One observation about Pacific Park while passing by yesterday is how much they have built the park up and incorporated little hills into it. I wasn't expecting that but was a nice surprise, I can imagine this being even better once the landscaping goes in.

This would have been such a great addition of residential right on Ross. Hope that comes to fruition earlier than later. Thing is I would expect even high dollar residential in that spot to completely lease out in no time. It's a prime location.

As of today they are working on the 24th level which I assume will end up being the 23rd floor but glass work continues and the first balcony has appeared on 11.

How would that ramp impact the proposed Hillwood tower? I am guessing here but besides the obvious DOT objections Hillwood may view that ramp as a necessary feeder to allow people to get to the tower from Woodall.

If we get another rain event like 1908 I'd hate to think of what else could happen. That would put everything that was under water then under water again which would likely stretch all the way to Fort Worth. Not to even mention issues like the Lake Lewisville dam.

Unfortunate but the site still seems like a prime spot for development, especially with the HSR station sitting right there. Hopefully somebody will see that potential and move on it.

The glass looks just a bit different to me which isn't necessarily a bad thing but it seems less reflective and more transparent than the office tower.

So looking down at this just a few minutes ago it appears like they are finishing up the roof without going any higher. They capped the elevator shafts with concrete and to be honest it just looks like they are about done. So this multi acre garage is just that.
