I would watch the Hillwood site first before the Hines site. Hillwood is ready to go and asked the city for a stay on their application until July. They know how fast/slow the city moves on these things but let's hope they are waiting on an Amazon announcement to make some changes to their buildings...

Just talk to One Main Place. Its basement is just under the lobby and is already set up like a mini mall with stall like retail spaces. Most of them are empty. I imagine with some more investment and good branding they could market it as a food hall with the right approach.

We just became a significant player in the world of entertainment by having the parent company located and investing in our Downtown. Maybe one day we will get some of those brands take more presence in Dallas.

If they could just open a CNN studio of some decent size here I would be happy.

Yes, the city held meetings WITH the Bikeshare companies to develop these regulations. The companies know regulations are going to come either way and fees are just a reality so the Ofo's, Limbike etc made sure they had a seat at the table. Afterall other cities could use Dallas regulations as guide...

That was going to be a boutique hotel he was pitching when Cambira stepped up they catered to that flags requirements. I liked the Saint Elm Hotel concept myself looked more unique concept than CAMBRiA.
