It seems in general the Stemmons area has been seeing some movement. Several new hotels in the mid priced range have opened including one near this tower. The large Stemmons towers site has been purchased as well. Seems like Stemmons is finally getting some reinvestment.

But that's not what the delay is supposedly about. The developer is still proposing a highrise hotel project but they are just changing up the design.

Yeah they are all open still. The retail spaces though seem to be slowly emptying out. Kung Fu and Concrete are of course operating differently since COVID regulations are putting a stop to some of the wild behavior. I understand why you say so Hannibal but this is not the ugliest building conceived. That Hampton Inn on goat hill they call a luxury apartment building is pretty awful and I personally think Richards Group new HQ is also pretty bad. Both examples I am sure someone disagrees with.

Ask local luxury Apartment leasing agents and you will have your answer. So far traffic hasn't fallen off and I have seen lots of relocations pop up in the last two weeks alone as people chase jobs to the Dallas market. I will admit though a lease-up that big could go either way.

Also the old land for the Arena is better primed for an office complex than a park which is what it is being proposed for by its owner. Also I think the design of the tower is fairly simple from a concrete perspective. Its about moving them molds filling setting and moving up to the next floor.
