Those wide sidewalks even with the integrated parking are so much nicer than the previous wide roadways perfect for drag racing. Narrow those streets build out those long promenades of walking space.

The Field Street project is done by Wood Partners and is in the CBD. This North End project is Hunt Realty and is next to the Perot.

This is further than they were before and it is a very mixed use tower with office hotel and residential. Its not filling construction documents or turning dirt but hey its better than just a fantasy fly through video. They actually submitted something for review.

Plano and Las Colinas have had that advantage for years and Downtown is still a small player and will be until more ancillary development happens around the CBD. Hmm how long until a new buyer proposes a mixed use project and wants to tear down some of its older sections. This Mall isn't as old as Valley View or Collin Creek Mall but it seems like honestly it would do better as a new trendy mixed use project to compete for the Legacy dollars.
